and this... prepared clementine 2

Oh boy, haven't posted in a while. Here's today:

Having fun with Jepoy and Faye at The Ship with the Fisher Price turntable, a train-prepared record, a clementine and three cameras.

everything is left-to-right captured with PhotoBooth and my laptop

two cameras and a turntable, a broken record and The Earth Ship

And this decay of PM Toronto

several days of the ceiling camera and Earth Ship events, including an exploding kitchen cabinet. Audio by Jeff and Isla.

After almost a week apart, Jeff and I got together again today and restored our momentum by starting on the cone wall. The projected grid works really well.

I'm learning about converting the time-lapse sequences to HD. Is this file too large? I think so...

Jeff and I are both wearing jeans!

Many thanks go out to Jeff for inviting me to spend time with him at the ship making art and learning about each others' process. Working in collaboration with Jeff is a great pleasure! I am looking forward very much to these two weeks. At this writing (day 2) it has been a fabulous experience already!

Setting up the overhead camera. Here's one of the test shots...

Jeff is an excellent cook. We're having fun documenting just about everything, such as dinner on day one...
Today (day 2) I used some of the documentation from yesterday's dinner to show him how I use SnapzPro X
And then I used the screen capture from the dinner documentation to show him how I do an HTML decay

If you haven't seen this before, you might like to know that the decay continues and gets more interesting (to me anyway) the longer it plays

It also appears and sounds differently depending on your browser, internet connection and processor speed

Here the decay is recorded after about a half hour.

Jeff's enthusiasm for html decay led to more exciting things...

We let the camera shoot all night at this two-arm cone on the ladder and captured some nice aspects of the first day and evening, mostly spent setting up the cone oscillator.

This was our first collaboration of time-lapse video and audio mixups

The Cone Oscillator enjoys the company of Jeff's plants
